Two more things I forgot to mention in the last post:
Dec also saw the death of Jerry F. Sad news, but his battered body is no longer fighting the nasty cancer.
Also, we did have 2+ very nice days of fun in Avila.

My mom bought a dozen bagels which I ate one for breakfast today.
I had a small and quick breakfast that I ate on the way to the bus.

He took the time out of his day to check up on me and talk with me for a little.
It made me happy and made my day better. Even though we text each other often, it's always nice to actually hear his voice when he gets the chance. It also shows me he does care for me.

My teacher allowed me to leave my stuff in his classroom so I wouldn't have to carry it around the school.
I only need it for the end of the day and it's a couple of things and it can be tiring to carry them all day, so I'm really grateful for him allowing me to do that.

When I was trying to find my sweater my sister helped me find it.

I was walking in downtown Fort Myers and some of my money fell out of my pocket and someone picked it up and gave it back.
That was my money for dinner so I could then eat.

Recently we were finally able to get beds in each of our rooms and a working shower after the damage from hurricane Ian, we didn't know when or if we would ever be able to move back into our house so soon. I'm so grateful to all the people that help us get this done.
It felt great to finally sleep in an actual bed in my own room, and shower in my own house again. And it made my grandparents day, and mine better, we've all had some stress lifted off our backs after the crazy past few months.

My mom got me this 2023 planner for Christmas.
I'm only my first day into being a journalism student, but just having this thing's making me feel way less stressed out and much more on top of things already. Thanks for the gift, Mom. :]
