What are you grateful for?

i wasn't able to go to school the whole week due to that my grades went down cause of all the assignments i missed. So my friend talked to my teachers and she got the work i was missing and she is going to give it to me so i can do it before i go back to school.

I felt appreciated and that she was there for me.

My boyfriend knew what i was going through and the pain i was going through so he got me food and a gift that reminded him of me.

It made me feel appreciated and loved. He was still by my side even if he couldn't be here physically all the time.

i got the opportunity to take my FSW test again to get a better grade.

i got the ability to practice more and understand the test better.

My mother took care of me and took days off so she can be with me.

i wasn't alone and i had help if i could get something for myself.

It is not about who I am thankful for but for what I am grateful for. There was a student that had a mother that just recently passed away(yesterday at night) and I am just thankful that it wasn't my mother. She was at a good place and probably going home and something might have happened during that. But I am thankful that her son is alive and given another chance to do something different for his life and for the better. ~We don't know when life ends. ~

It benefited me from actually appreciating the fact that my mom is with me. But it is pretty sad that his mom past away. It also benefited me because we have to live life for the better or for me, with God. Life is priceless and ~when death calls you are taken~.

There was this difficult homework I had due yesterday and I was frustrated not being able to complete it. Then I pulled up a video that explained it in a cohesive manner.

The assignment was turned in complete and I received good marks on it.

We're currently furnishing the house that soon we'll move in. In the meantime we have these lawn chairs in our TV room. I had to run an errand to the house (get the new key for the shared swimming pool) and when I went it to leave the key, I saw that she put a cushion to each chair. The cushions were colorful and pretty. I thought it was funny and made me happy, because that's the type of thing that she'd do to make it better and I love her for that.

Helped me as a reminder of her, her thoughtness, her behavior, how she always wants to make things a little bit better. I felt happy.
