I was tired and was about 30 minutes away from going home. So I then had a big order come in and would have been done in 15 minutes but that would have cut in from me restocking and leaving on time so they offered to help.
I didn't have to stay late and was able to go home.

My first patient this morning was so sweet and wonderful. He was so appreciative of my time. I was doing my job and being myself. He felt so safe and cared for that he actually fell asleep. I always want to provide a safe space and a moment of friendship. His kind words are the exact reason that I do what I do.

On the way home from clothes shopping, Dawson made the most amazing yet simple comment to Robert. Mom is so much better since she started her new job. They were discussing being available and listening to them. I have been thinking about becoming a supervisor. This exact comment solidified where I need to be.
