My friend texted a thank-you for being invited to a social gathering . . . in the text she let me know how much she had enjoyed the event and appreciated being included on the invitation list
It’s nice to know that my friends enjoy spending time with me and value the relationship they share with me; it boosts my sense of self worth and that I’m a likeable person.

This 84 years old little lady inspired me some weeks ago to get down to a small lake nearby and take a morning swim. Today when I was on my way back home from the lake I met her and thanked her for changing my life. I really love my morning swim and have only missed one or two days in the last three weeks.
I look forward to every morning with so much joy.

My mom's boyfriend bought me a new phone and it's coming next week. I don't really like him that much but he also got me a card for my birthday and I'm starting to rethink my opinion of him, since he's actually putting in effort to make me like him. I need to think about it more, but it's a W for now.

Oysterville, WA, USA: 1. Grateful today for the teenaged boy walking his dog who had smiled and waved at me as I rode by on my bike. Sure, unlike the city, a lot of people here wave in greeting, but his smile was sincere, beautiful, and he had initiated it -- this was not an obligatory response to something I had done.
Small gestures like this can be absolutely life affirming, and I was pleased to have been the recipient of this small kindness.

She has been patient with my scheduling needs due to my health.
I was able to retain my position at Aspire of Muscatine while getting my health back on track. She has allowed me to cut back on hours while taking on other less demanding PRN employment elsewhere.
