It was a beautiful weekend. Sunny and sweet and not hot. I got some yardword done. Not a ton of yard word, but enough to make a noticeable difference. I love my garden, the flowers in bloom, the vegetables starting to grow and give me greens for summer salads, the lawns to play with my dog. Slowly slowly, I'm reclaiming portions of the yard to cleanup and beautify. This weekend I cleared mounds of weeds from the eastside steps and got partway through tidying up the front flower bed, mowed both lawns and harvested some lettuce.
Gardening is my zen space. It calms me, lets me empty my mind and heart and just be with the plants and the earth. And it's immediately gratifying to see the progress I make, no mater how small.

I got an airplane this morning and traveled to a location to conduct business.
It felt good to be traveling on business. Two years ago, I was without a job, and i wondered where my next pay check would come from, and here I am doing well with my new job. Things have turned around for me and I am grateful.

Yesterday, I made lunch for my family. It was a busy Sunday, and everyone was just running around, and I decided to make lunch for my family.
I always feel good when I do something for my family. And, it warms me up when they say how much they enjoyed the lunch that I made. It was a simple one- chicken and rice, but it was like comfort food. I like it when I can express my love for my family through the foods I cook.

I had the chance to make 10 Kms in my trail running of Sunday. Weather was perfect. And after that I had the chance to go around with my kids and enjoy great music in a very nice park.
I could share with my kids and I could train my body for the next challenges.

Just yesterday this neighbor/friend offered me a bowl of ice cream. I took him up on the offer.
It was nice of him to offer me the end of that container of ice cream, and it tasted super good.

She cleared up a problem we were having with a subscription bike rental company. I was supposed to take care of it but I never seemed to have the time. She volunteered and took care of the problem within minutes!
If she had not solved the problem we would be unable to access this alternative transport when we really needed it.

My boss backed me up with regards to an user. There was an urgency that the user was asking to place immediately, but it didnt have the full requirement approved yet. So, my manager replied her that there were several requests in the pipeline and given that it has been in the loop of the users for more than 2 months, we should not prioritize above other users that have placed their requests on time.
And, by the other hand, my mate brought me a book very significant related to a travel we took together, and it came without any reason behind, just for the pleasure of lecture

First one, because I felt supported. and second because there was no reason for that, and the gifts with no reason are more sweet.

My friend´s dog got lost yesterday AM, and during the day we carried out a campaign in social networks to find Frida, It was a very very long day concerned and afraid that something bad could have happened but finally, in the evening, my friend found her in a little park near her home
I could not have sleep well knowing that Frida was suffering outside, therefore, it was an absolute relief when they found her.

Sticking by me no matter what I say when I become anxious, frustrated, or angry. I feel grateful to have someone who is capable of giving love.

Today I got to see one of my former players who I have coached since she was 8 years old get married today. It was a proud moment for me to see my players take their next chapters in their journey into this world. It's a moment that I always look forward to weather its one of them graduating from school getting married or signing to a college I always cherish these moments.
It benefits me because she is allowing me to witness this great occasion that I get to share with all of her loved ones and that I'm considered a loved one.
