I'm just happy for myself making it to the gym and going hard and eating well today and for the privilege of my lifestyle.
It makes me feel good for where I've came from. Even though I'm still not where I want to be I still am doing okay. And can always get better and try harder at things and just actually DO things.

Mike and Susan opened up their home to our family at the last minute and spared us from being in our house with no electricity.
It is very generous; they treated us to dinner and dessert too and it was so enjoyable talking with them.

Got up early and was able to do all the laundry before peak SMUD hours and clean up the kitchen!
Saved me money 😁 But more importantly, I was able to spend my afternoon helping my daughter with college searches which have been more stressful with adding all the volleyball recruitment into the mix. It was an all around productive day.

We boated into town - grey skies and windy. Just as we got into our truck, the rain poured down and it hailed.
We were so fortunate to miss the rain while boating in! We stayed safe and dry

My daughter was extremely supportive of me this weekend.
Her help for our party was indispensable-especially going out to pick up things we forgot. It made everything so much enjoyable for myself and enabled me to complete what I wanted and have fun.

About a week or so ago my father brought over a hutch which he built for me. He screwed it onto my kitchen table.
He did a very nice job on the hutch. Now I have more storage space in my kitchen, which I desperately needed. Thank you Dad!
