Just chillin with a beer under the sun this afternoon, and I remembered how much I was lucky to be living this. Life can be harsh, but I'm safe, I've got food and a bed to sleep in. In this world, that's a lot.
It allowed me to put my own problems into perspective, and to focus more on the present moment

I am grateful for my dogs. They have there for me through some of the darkest days of my life. I have MDD and C-PTSD and throughout November through February I was in the scariest, worst downward spiral I have ever experienced. They were always with me and were, many days the only thing that kept me going.
They literally saved my sanity.

I went to my first bootcamp class at SIN Fitness. The instructor was kind, encouraging, and helped me modify movements as needed. The people in the class were also supportive! 10/10 signing up for a month!!

Jag är i kontroll över en kropp som är så smart. Jag kan blunda och möta mina ben för att jag känner av var de är.
Jag är kapabel till så många kombinationer av rörelser. Titta på alla som sportar. Till exempel mitt kitesurfande. Det är så häftigt att vi är evolutionärt utvecklade att ha den här förmågan, som gör alla dessa roliga sporter möjliga

For everything she does. Today was a rough day for her, and still had the where with all to be present and understanding when it came to going to bed late because I needed to finish my homework

My grandsons kindergarten teacher helped him get thru so much as he is developmentally delayed. Today he graduated to first grade.
I feel

I am thankful for the Lord just taking care of myself, spouse, pets, children and grandchildren! Our live was never easy when we were younger. When you start living the right way, things really do change for the better!

My friend Jean is always open to listen and never judge when I am talking to her on the phone.
She makes me feel heard. I feel like a valued friend and I am hers. We have been friends from a job over 20 years ago. We lost touch for about 10 years but just picked back up where we left off, like there is no time lost between us!

Despite the usual heat in Qatar at this time of year, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful when I opened the balcony door. Where I could see the beach and the weather was much better than expected.
I felt lucky to experience that moment, and it motivated me to put aside my work on the computer and simply go for a walk. I wanted to fully embrace and appreciate the beauty in front of me, and it helped me feel more connected to it.
