A childhood friend sent me the pics of his newborn baby. I was so glad to learn that he became a father because I always knew it would do a great job with kids.
I was happy that even if we don’t contact each other often, my friend still thought to share this new step of his life with me.

I'm grateful for my neighbors. We don't really talk, but everyone is so kind and respectful ... and not just to fellow humans! I was out for a walk and several ducks walked into the street and stopped (while two cars coming from both directions were trying to get by). The drivers patiently waited (without honking) while I sort of chased the ducks off the road.
It was more of a benefit for the ducks themselves. I'm thankful for having neighbors who respect the local wildlife.

My God, Who loves me beyond anyone else continues to be faithful to me. Even when I am unfaithful to Him. Romans 5:8 and Numbers 23:19
Said thank you, but not enough. The price He paid is beyond anything I can ever be grateful enough for. His great sacrifice sets me free to live for Him. I am freed from any cost. My debt is paid in full!

I felt grateful recently for a persistent sense of peace, even though I have experienced a series of life-changing events recently.
I find myself thanking God that his Spirit seeks me out and gives me joy. The changing season here in the mountains delights my eyes with color and clouds. I live a comfortable life on our WV farm. My family members are all well, gainfully employed, busy in their lives, currently. I enjoy my work and my rest. God makes it possible to see his blessings around the pain and loss.

I could spend some time with my friend. I didn’t see her since more than a year due to the epidemic. Got a stroll in the park.
It felt nice, had some laugh. It’s been a tough year and it was great to be able to meet again.

Grateful for influenza vaccines. That there IS such a thing! For the opportunity and privilege to receive it!! At zero cost!!! And barely say wait!!!! And that the hardworking nurses, though very busy, were cheerful and smiled!!!!!
A good day.

Father in law was recently put on hospice services and my husband's family has been great in receiving instruction and help in managing.
I don't always feel supported by my husband's family, as I am a hospice nurse.

It's hard to know when to comment on social media; you never know how others will respond. I voiced my concerns when someone posted a lot of personal information (as a way of introducing themselves to the group). Thankfully, when I cautioned the person that information such as date of birth could be used by hackers, they agreed and modified their post.
There wasn't a direct benefit to me. But I'm grateful that the person was open to feedback. They reminded me that we can still have reasonable interactions on social media.

I have a cold or a flu and had unsuccessfully tried to get to a testing centre. I got home, having organised an antigen testing kit with my local pharmacy. My neighbour offered to pick it up and bring it to my home. When she delivered it, the bag also contained two chocolate biscuits and a box of breakfast tea (a gift from her recent holiday). She refused to let me pay for it, saying she was glad to have the chance to do something for me.
It allowed me to self-isolate more effectively (I'd have had to go out, feeling unwell, possibly contagious, to the chemists to collect it myself). It allowed me to stay warm at home and rest. IT made me feel like I had a caring friend who was concerned for me and had my best interests at heart. It made me quite tearful. I felt loved.

I picked up some groceries and other items for my elderly neighbour when I was shopping.
Glad to be acknowledged and appreciated. Glad that my efforts were helpful and useful to her and committed to continuing with this helpfulness.
